Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to develop, manage, and coordinate cost estimates for building and facility projects worldwide. You’ll lead discipline estimators, drive multi‑discipline coordination, and support complex projects from design through development milestones.

The role emphasizes strong building/facility estimating across architectural, structural, and related components, with travel and flexibility to work from home or Stantec offices in the US or Canada.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of cost/estimating, construction practice, and engineering design.
• Experience estimating buildings and facilities across multiple sectors.
• Advanced capability to coordinate multi-discipline estimates with civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing scopes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the development of cost estimates and construction schedules.
• Develop detailed estimates for architectural systems, buildingenvelope, interiors, finishes, doors/hardware, and related components.
• Coordinate input parameters for cost estimates and schedules.
• Validate material takeoffs and quantities from drawings.
• Prepare basis of cost estimate reports for end users.
• Support procurement, change and claims valuation and negotiations.
• Lead constructability reviews and risk analyses as part of project development.
