Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead multi-discipline cost estimates and schedules for diverse building projects. This role involves coordinating estimators, interfacing with design teams, and ensuring estimate defensibility across project milestones.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in estimating, strong knowledge of architectural/structural scopes, and the ability to travel domestically. Flexible/hybrid work options and global project opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of cost estimating, construction practice, and engineering design standards.
• Experience estimating buildings/facilities including commercial, industrial, institutional or infrastructure-adjacent.
• Expertise in architectural/structural scopes like steel, concrete, foundations, building envelope, finishes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules.
• Develop detailed estimates for architectural systems, building envelope, interiors, finishes, doors/hardware, and related components.
• Coordinate input for estimates and schedules with other estimators.
• Validate quantities from drawings and compile information into a single estimate.
• Prepare estimate execution plans and labor-force work plans.
• Support procurement, change orders, and value engineering efforts.
