Job summary

Stantec invites experienced estimators to lead multi‑discipline cost estimating for diverse building projects. You’ll coordinate architectural, structural, and interior estimates, manage schedules, and interface with clients for clear, defendable numbers.

The role supports projects globally with flexible work arrangements, including home-based options and travel as needed. A strong background in building systems and coordination is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of combined experience in estimating and construction.
• Experience with multi-discipline estimating across buildings and facilities.
• Knowledge of architectural systems, structural scopes, and building envelope.
• Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the development of multi-discipline cost estimates and schedules.
• Develop detailed estimates for architectural systems, buildingenvelope, interiors, finishes, and foundations.
• Coordinate input parameters and validate material takeoffs from drawings.
• Provide constructability reviews and support procurement, change, and claims valuation.
• Interface with management and clients for estimating tasks and communicate defensible estimates.
