Job summary

Sirius Staffing seeks an experienced Engineering Manager with a structural engineering background and direct precast/prestressed concrete expertise to lead engineering operations in our construction and precast manufacturing sector.

The role requires a PE license, 8+ years of relevant experience, and proven leadership to oversee design reviews, mentoring, and collaboration with production and field teams to resolve technical issues on major projects.

Qualifications

Active PE license is required.
Direct experience with precast and/or prestressed concrete structural design required.
Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of structural engineering experience with precast/prestressed exposure.
Experience leading, supervising, or providing technical direction.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day engineering and drafting activities to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Provide structural, civil, and life-safety design for precast concrete structures and products.
Review calculations, designs, drawings, and specs for accuracy and code compliance.
Oversee safe lifting, handling, transportation, and erection of precast structures.
Mentor and provide technical leadership to engineers, interns, and detailers.
