Job summary

LVI Associates in New York is seeking a Project Manager to lead precast engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring delivery, client satisfaction, and technical quality. You will own complex precast assignments, mentor engineers, and help expand client relationships within a collaborative, people-first culture that values innovation and growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in precast concrete design engineering.
  • Experience with underground structures including utility vaults, manholes, drainage structures, and pump stations.
  • Previous project management experience within the precast industry.
  • PE license preferred or ability to obtain.
  • Knowledge of ACI, ASCE, and AASHTO standards.
  • Familiarity with IBC codes is a plus.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and RISA 3D.
  • Strong client-facing, leadership, and business development skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead precast engineering projects from planning and design through delivery and closeout.
  • Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, staffing, and client communication.
  • Coordinate with clients, agencies, consultants, and internal design teams.
  • Prepare and review drawings, plans, specifications, and calculations.
  • Perform QA/QC reviews and resolve technical design challenges.
  • Support proposal development and business development initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineering staff.
  • Ensure projects meet applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.
