Job summary

Arcadis U.S. Inc. is seeking a Staff Structural Engineer (PE or Senior EIT) for a hybrid role in the USA.

The candidate will lead structural components, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to high-quality design across sectors. Travel to project sites may be required. The ideal candidate holds a PE license or is preparing to sit for the PE exam within six months, with 6+ years of project experience and strong knowledge of IBC/ACI/AISC codes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant structural engineering project experience.
• PE License or Senior EIT candidate planning to take PE exam within 6 months.
• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Strong problem-solving and initiative.
• Knowledge of USA codes (IBC, ACI, AISC).
• Proficient with RISA, ETABS, Revit, AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead project components and develop calculations, plans and specifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform Construction Administration duties including field reports and RFIs.
• Travel as needed for project-related activities and client visits.
• Coordinate with Engineer of Record to establish loads and analysis methods.
