Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Staff Structural Engineer (PE or Senior EIT) with 6+ years of project experience to join our California hybrid team. The role focuses on leading technical efforts, mentoring junior engineers, and delivering high‑quality design solutions across manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and rail sectors.

Candidates must have a BS in Structural or Civil Engineering, a PE license or be preparing for the PE exam, strong knowledge of US codes (IBC/ACI/AISC), and

Qualifications

6+ years of structural engineering project experience.
PE license or Senior EIT candidate planning to take PE exam within 6 months.
BS in Structural or Civil Engineering.
Strong problem-solving and initiative.

Responsibilities

Lead key project components and mentor junior engineers.
Contribute to innovative, high-quality design solutions across sectors (manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, technology, utilities, rail).
Collaborate with EOR, other disciplines, clients and subcontractors throughout project life cycle; communicate clearly (oral and written).
Develop calculations, plans, and contract documents with senior review.
Perform Construction Administration duties including field observations and RFIs.
