Job summary

Arcadis in Nashville, USA, is seeking a Staff Structural Engineer (PE or Senior EIT) with 6+ years of experience to join our hybrid team. You will lead key project components, mentor juniors, and deliver design solutions across sectors, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires strong knowledge of US codes (IBC, ACI, AISC) and software such as RISA, ETABS, BIM tools, Revit and AutoCAD. Some travel within the United States may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant structural engineering project experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Senior EIT candidate looking to write their PE exam in the next 6 months.
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with initiative.
• Proficiency with USA codes and standards (IBC, ACI, AISC).
• Experience with structural analysis/design software (RISA/ETABS).

Responsibilities

• Lead project components and mentor junior engineers.
• Develop calculations, plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams from concept through construction.
• Perform construction administration duties and field observations.
• Coordinate with EOR and stakeholders to ensure code compliance.
