Job summary

Arcadis USA is seeking a Staff Structural Engineer (PE or Senior EIT) for a hybrid role in Maine. The candidate will lead structural design efforts, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams on projects in sectors including manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, technology, and utilities.

Travel within the United States may be required. The role requires 6+ years of experience, a PE license or Senior EIT pursuing PE within six months, and a BS in Structural or Civil

Qualifications

6+ years of relevant structural engineering project experience.
PE license or Senior EIT candidate aiming to take PE in next 6 months.
Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
Strong problem-solving, initiative, and analytical skills.
Proficiency with USA codes such as IBC, ACI, and AISC.
Experience with RISA, ETABS, BIM, Revit, and AutoCAD.
Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

Lead project components with senior review.
Mentor junior engineers.
Develop calculations, plans, specs, and contract documents.
Coordinate with EOR, other disciplines, clients, and subcontractors.
Perform construction administration and field observations.
Travel to project sites and client meetings as needed.
