Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Staff Structural Engineer (PE or Senior EIT) for a hybrid USA role. You will lead project components, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to innovative design solutions across manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, technology, utilities, and rail.

You must have 6+ years of structural engineering experience, a PE license or near-term PE exam, a BS in Structural or Civil Engineering, and strong knowledge of USA codes. Some travel within the U.S. may be required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant structural engineering project experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License or Senior EIT candidate planning to take PE exam in next 6 months.
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills with critical thinking and initiative.
• Excellent working knowledge of USA National codes and standards (IBC, ACI, AISC).
• Strong technical software skills: Revit, AutoCAD, ETABS, RISA.

Responsibilities

• Lead key project components with senior review.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop calculations, plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Communicate clearly orally and in writing with stakeholders.
• Perform Construction Administration duties and field observations.
• Travel for project-related activities and client visits as needed.
