Qualifications
- BS degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in design/analysis of structures.
- Proficiency with structural analysis software (STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, ANSYS).
- Proficiency with design codes and standards (ASCE 7, AISC, ACI).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of materials, structural analysis, structural steel design, and reinforced concrete design.
- Work on a wide range of projects for clients; prepare/review design calculations and develop specifications; guide others in engineering deliverables.
- Perform structural analysis and design of steel frames, connections, concrete members, and foundations.
- Travel to client/vendor offices for design reviews and to plant sites for construction coordination and field verification of designs.
