Sargent & Lundy is seeking a senior civil/structural engineer to lead design and analysis for nuclear facility projects. You will collaborate with a team of structural engineers, interface with other disciplines, and guide junior staff in delivering engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities include applying knowledge of materials, structural analysis, steel and concrete design, and using advanced tools to ensure accurate, safe, and compliant solutions.

Competenze

• BS degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Five or more years of experience working as a member of a project team in the design and analysis of structures
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, or ANSYS
• Proficiency with design codes and standards such as ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Mansioni

• Direct collaboration with a team of structural engineers on nuclear facilities projects
• Interface with engineers from other disciplines and guide less experienced team members
• Perform structural analysis and design of steel frames, connections, concrete members, and foundations
• Travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and site coordination
