Sargent & Lundy is seeking a mid- to senior-level Structural Engineer in Richland, WA, offering a hybrid work arrangement with a mix of remote and office presence. The role focuses on leading design efforts, producing calculations and drawings, and mentoring junior staff within a multi-disciplinary project team.

Essential qualifications include a BSSE or MSSE from ABET-accredited programs, 7+ years of structural engineering experience, and the ability to obtain US government security clearance.

Qualificações

• Must have US Government security clearance eligibility.
• ABET-accredited civil/structural engineering degree required.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible structural engineering experience.
• Experience with foundations, structures, and support structures.

Responsabilidades

• Lead structural design engineering efforts on multi-disciplined project teams.
• Produce engineering calculations, analyses, design drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Apply civil/structural engineering expertise to design and qualification of structures, systems, components.
• Produce procurement and construction specifications (Structural sections).
• Monitor work of assigned staff and ensure tasks meet schedule and budget.
• Attend project meetings and perform field walkdowns; travel to project locations as needed.
• Mentor junior engineers.
