Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC in Chicago, IL seeks a Senior Structural Licensed Professional Engineer with a PE license to oversee structural and geotechnical projects across multiple states. You will serve as Engineer of Record and lead a team of engineers and designers delivering utility infrastructure designs for power, renewables, telecom, gas and municipal sectors.

Responsibilities include stamping drawings, ensuring quality deliverables, managing client relationships, and guiding project execution

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering with PE licensure and state-by-state eligibility.
• Minimum 10 years of structural/geotechnical consulting experience.
• Experience leading teams and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams of engineers, designers, and field staff.
• Provide stamping and sealing of drawings as required.
• Oversee structural and geotechnical project execution across multiple states.
• Prepare reports, memos, and construction specifications.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables and manage project risks.
• Travel as needed.
