Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC seeks a Senior Structural Licensed Professional Engineer with a PE license in multiple jurisdictions or the ability to obtain them. The incumbent will function as Engineer of Record and oversee technical execution of projects across states, focusing on structural and geotechnical utility infrastructure for power, renewables, telecom, gas and municipal sectors.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on civil / structural / geotechnical engineering.
• 10+ years’ experience in structural and/or geotechnical engineering.
• Professional Engineering Licensure.
• Knowledge of industry design codes including AISC, ASCE, UBC and IBC.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Consulting background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project team consisting of engineers, designers, and field personnel.
• Provide technical oversight for structural and geotechnical engineering projects.
• Act as engineer-of-record, including stamping and sealing drawings as required.
• Lead engineering effort on proposals and client communications.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables meet client specs and project deadlines.
