Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC is seeking a Senior Structural Licensed Professional Engineer with a PE license in multiple jurisdictions or the ability to obtain them. The role acts as Engineer of Record, leading technical execution of structural and geotechnical utility projects across a nationwide client base.

The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day management, mentor a team, and drive client success through precise design and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical engineering.
• 10+ years' experience in structural/geotechnical engineering.
• Professional Engineering licensure (PE).
• Knowledge of AISC, ASCE, UBC and IBC codes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Consulting background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project team of engineers, designers, and field personnel.
• Provide technical oversight for structural/geotechnical projects.
• Prepare memos, reports, and drawings; stamp and seal as required.
• Coordinate with clients and other departments for project success.
• Ensure compliance with design codes and quality standards.
• Travel to project sites as needed to perform inspections.
