Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC is seeking a Senior Structural Licensed Professional Engineer to lead structural/geotechnical design efforts nationwide. The role requires PE licensure and the ability to stamp drawings, manage project teams, and ensure high-quality outcomes.

The position covers diverse utilities and infrastructure projects with opportunities to influence design standards, coordinate with clients, and advance to senior leadership within HBK’s expanding practice.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis on civil/structural/geotechnical engineering.
• Professional Engineering licensure required; multiple jurisdictions encouraged.
• 10+ years of structural/geotechnical engineering experience with leadership skills.
• Ability to travel as needed and manage project teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering oversight as engineer of record for structural projects.
• Lead a team of engineers, designers, and field personnel.
• Stamp and seal drawings per licensure requirements where applicable.
• Develop scope, budgets, and schedules; ensure quality deliverables.
• Maintain client relationships and lead proposal efforts.
• Coordinate cross‑functional design with other departments.
