Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC is seeking a Senior Structural Licensed Professional Engineer with a PE license in multiple jurisdictions. The role oversees structural/geotechnical projects nationwide, acting as Engineer of Record with a team of engineers and designers.

The position supports HBK's expanding service offerings across power, renewables, telecom, gas and municipal engineering. The candidate will drive client success through project execution, provide technical oversight, and lead

Qualifications

B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering required; emphasis in civil/structural/geotechnical preferred.
10+ years of structural and/or geotechnical engineering experience required.
Professional Engineering Licensure required; NCEES Records or reciprocity ability required.
Knowledge of AISC, ASCE, UBC and IBC design codes required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Experience leading teams and managing projects required.
Travel willingness to travel as needed; consulting background preferred.
Proficient with MS Office; knowledge of Deltek system a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide technical oversight and day‑to‑day management for structural/geotechnical projects.
Lead engineers, designers, and field personnel to deliver engineering deliverables.
Stamp and seal drawings as engineer of record where required.
Develop proposals and lead client communications and project scheduling.
Ensure quality, manage risks, and drive constructability improvements.
