Job summary

ERA Structural Engineering is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer in Arizona to lead design, analysis, and construction document production. You will coordinate with architects, owners, and contractors to deliver high-quality structural solutions across diverse projects.

You will mentor junior staff, review work, and ensure schedule and budget adherence while guiding technical design and field support. This role emphasizes ownership, growth, and collaboration within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Requires a civil or structural engineering degree and PE licensure.
• 8–15 years of structural engineering experience.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with RAM, RISA3-D and SAP2000 software.

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationship management from a technical and engineering perspective.
• Coordinate scope reviews and change orders with project teams.
• Oversee schedules for structural deliverables across multiple projects.
• Lead internal and external coordination meetings.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and review others' work.
• Ensure QA/QC and adherence to project scope and budget.
• Direct shop drawing reviews and RFIs.
• Provide field support through site visits to resolve conditions.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
• Balance workload across projects and staff while ensuring quality.
