Job summary

ERA Structural Engineering seeks a motivated Sr. Structural Engineer in Saint Paul, MN to design and document structures for diverse clients.

You will collaborate with architects, owners, and contractors to deliver accurate plans, perform structural analysis, and coordinate with BIM modelers and the project team. You will mentor junior engineers, review work, manage schedules, and help win work through technical leadership and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil or structural engineering.
• PE Licensed.
• 8-15 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Proficient with RAM, RISA3-D, and SAP2000.
• Experience in steel, concrete, timber and other material design.

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationship management from a technical and engineering perspective, ensuring expectations and deliverables are fully aligned.
• Provide contract support, including scope review and coordination of change orders.
• Oversee and manage schedules for all structural engineering deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met across multiple projects.
• Review shop drawings and submittals, RFIs, and ensure QA/QC across the program.
• Mentor engineers, review work of team members and BIM modelers, and coordinate with project partners.
