ERA Structural Engineering is seeking a motivated Graduate Structural Engineer to grow with our team. You will perform structural analysis and design for buildings, coordinate with project partners, and help prepare construction documents within a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in civil/structural engineering required.
• FE exam passed and EIT registration within 1 year.
• 0–3 years of structural engineering experience.
• Proficiency with RAM, RISA3-D and SAP2000 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of buildings using concrete, steel, timber and other materials.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Structural Modelers to prepare construction documents.
• Attend internal kickoff meetings and external coordination meetings.
• Develop designs for structural systems and project specifications.
• Create and maintain accurate project calculations and drawing packages.
• Conduct drawing reviews for internal QA and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Identify and communicate unusual design conditions or scope changes to Project Managers.
• Review shop drawings and submittals; respond to RFIs and field observations as needed.
• Evaluate inspection reports and address deviations from design documents.
• Support construction partners in resolving field issues efficiently.
• Read and interpret project proposals to understand scope, schedule and budget.
