Job summary

EAPC is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our integrated design team in Phoenix, AZ. You will design, detail, and calculate structures for new and existing buildings, coordinating with architecture, MEP, and civil disciplines.

You will mentor EITs, lead CAD/Revit directions, and contribute to proposals. A PE license and 8+ years of experience are preferred for this role with a focus on quality and collaboration.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil Engineering required.
• PE licensure required; able to sign and stamp work.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in design and detailing of buildings/structures.
• Proficient with RAM, RISA, Enercalc or similar programs.
• Experience mentoring EITs and coordinating with CAD/Revit teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide structural design, detailing, and calculations for new, additions, and renovations.
• Coordinate structural designs with architectural, mechanical, civil and other disciplines.
• Edit and write structural specifications.
• Perform investigations, feasibility studies and cost estimates as required.
• Mentor EIT staff and oversee CAD/Revit teams.
• Provide construction administration support including review of shop drawings and RFIs.
• Perform site visits to verify conditions and dimensions.
• Assist project managers with budgets and schedules and with proposals.
