Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks a senior civil/structural engineer to perform complete design of complex assignments. The role requires extensive experience in civil/structural engineering and independent work under general supervision.

Responsibilities include leading design teams, producing calculations and drawings, ensuring code compliance, coordinating with other disciplines, and delivering projects within scope, schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering required; Structural coursework preferred for structural roles.
• Professional Engineer license highly preferred for progression and responsibilities.
• 10+ years of relevant industrial civil/structural engineering experience expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil/structural design tasks for complex projects.
• Produce design calculations and sketches for construction materials.
• Check calculations for accuracy and compliance with codes.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure smooth project flow.
• Develop construction specifications and review vendor drawings.
• Perform fieldwork for data gathering and tie-ins.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and drafters.
