Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is seeking a skilled civil/structural engineer to design and lead project teams. You will develop conceptual layouts, prepare preliminary designs, and verify calculations to ensure accuracy and constructability.

The role requires strong communication, knowledge of IBC and industry codes, and experience with STAAD, E3D, MicroStation, and Bluebeam. Industrial projects rely on collaboration and precise execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• PE registration preferred; capable of leading projects with minimal supervision.
• Experience in civil/structural design for industrial or manufacturing projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead small to medium civil/structural teams, ensuring scope, schedule and budget adherence.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies to determine efficient approaches.
• Produce preliminary designs, material take-offs, and detailed calculations.
• Review vendor and discipline drawings for conformity with specs.
• Provide field support and assist drafting with layout challenges.
