Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of relevant industrial civil/structural experience.
• Knowledge of the International Building Code and related standards (ASCE, AISC, ACI).
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD or MicroStation) and ability to lead small teams.

Responsibilities

• Design complete civil/structural engineering assignments under supervision.
• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for project scope and design criteria.
• Produce detailed design calculations and sketches for construction materials.
• Review vendor drawings and ensure conformance to drawings and specs.
• Lead small-to-medium teams, coordinate with other disciplines, and provide field data as needed.
• Provide technical guidance to drafting/engineering staff and assist with package creation for procurement.
