Job summary

Hargrove is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with 3+ years of experience to perform comprehensive design work on diverse projects. The role requires familiarity with IBC, ASCE, ACI standards, CAD tools, and the ability to lead small teams through design and coordination efforts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
3+ years of relevant industrial civil/structural experience.
Knowledge of the International Building Code and related standards (ASCE, AISC, ACI).
Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD or MicroStation) and ability to lead small teams.

Responsibilities

Design complete civil/structural engineering assignments under supervision.
Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies for project scope and design criteria.
Produce detailed design calculations and sketches for construction materials.
Review vendor drawings and ensure conformance to drawings and specs.
Lead small-to-medium teams, coordinate with other disciplines, and provide field data as needed.
Provide technical guidance to drafting/engineering staff and assist with package creation for procurement.
