Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks a senior civil/structural engineer to lead design efforts on complex projects. The role involves developing conceptual layouts, performing advanced analyses, and coordinating multi-discipline teams to meet client expectations.

You will guide junior engineers, review drawings, and ensure compliance with codes and specifications. A PE license is preferred, with 10+ years of relevant experience in civil/structural engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineer registration is highly preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant civil/structural engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and structural design practices.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating multi-discipline projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex civil/structural engineering assignments under supervision.
• Lead small to large teams to meet scope, schedule and budget.
• Review vendor drawings and other disciplines for consistency with designs.
• Prepare and check construction drawings, calculations, and specs.
• Provide field support and data collection for projects.
• Collaborate with design leaders to ensure timely project delivery.
• Estimate professional services hours and contribute to project planning.
