Job summary

Hargrove is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to perform complete designs for civil/structural projects under supervision. Responsibilities include producing calculations, layouts, and sketches, coordinating with drafting, and ensuring designs meet codes and client expectations.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience and PE preference, with a focus on efficient construction and cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual layouts and cost studies to determine efficient design approaches.
• Produce preliminary designs and material take-offs for project estimates.
• Prepare detailed design calculations and sketches for construction.
• Review vendor drawings and other discipline drawings for civil/structural input.
• Provide field data collection and construction support as needed.
• Lead small to medium teams to coordinate civil/structural efforts on project scope, schedule and budget.
