Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer to perform complete designs for projects of varying size, under general supervision. You will create calculations, sketches and construction-ready drawings while coordinating with design leaders and supporting the drafting team.

Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering degree and 3+ years of related experience, with PE preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation and strong knowledge of IBC/ASCE/AISC/ACI standards is

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university; structural coursework required.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
• Experience in civil/structural engineering with knowledge of codes and design criteria.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete civil/structural designs for varied projects.
• Lead small to medium teams to ensure scope, schedule and budget.
• Produce design calculations and sketches for construction materials.
• Review vendor and discipline drawings for conformance to specs.
• Coordinate with design leaders and assist drafting/field activities.
