Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Professional to join our team in a hybrid capacity, focusing on analysis and design of steel and concrete structures. You will collaborate with Lead Engineers and Designers to develop design concepts, perform analyses, and ensure compliance with US codes while mentoring junior staff.

Minimum 4 years in structural engineering, a PE license, and experience with Navisworks/Bluebeam are required.

Qualifications

• BSCE with structural focus; PE license required.
• Minimum 4 years in structural engineering.
• Experience with US building codes: IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC.
• Experience using Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design under supervision.
• Apply wind and seismic provisions per building codes.
• Review and check own work and coordinate with leads.
• Mentor designers/drafters and junior engineers.
• Take ownership of their structural scope and schedule.
• Support multi-discipline coordination and project delivery.
