Qualifications

BS degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
Five+ years experience on design and analysis of structures as project team member.
Proficiency with structural analysis software (STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, ANSYS).
Proficiency with design codes (ASCE 7, AISC, ACI).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead structural design teams on projects for nuclear facilities and upgrades.
Prepare and review design calculations and develop specifications.
Support designers with drawings and deliverables; guide junior engineers.
Perform structural analysis and design of steel frames, connections, concrete members and foundations.
Travel to client/vendor offices or plant sites for reviews and coordination.
