Job summary

Thornton Tomasetti in the United States is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Structural Practice. You will take on increasingly complex analysis, design, and detailing across a wide range of building types, contributing to both small projects and components of larger iconic structures while applying sound judgment and design adaptations.

You will collaborate with architects, builders, and engineers, develop construction documents in BIM, mentor interns, and expand your project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years structural engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of structural analysis, design, and detailing tasks of growing complexity.
• Develop and refine construction documents in a BIM environment.
• Collaborate proactively with architects, builders, and engineers across disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance and day-to-day support for interns and junior engineers.
• Expand project exposure through client interactions and understanding scopes and fees.
