Job summary

Jacobs is hiring a Senior Structural Engineer to work on Data Center projects across the United States. You will perform diverse structural engineering tasks, develop models, and help drive design solutions in a collaborative team environment.

Candidates should have a PE license, 8+ years of experience, and proficiency with CAD and analysis software. Travel up to 20% and hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer; eligible to become registered in additional states.
• CAD software: AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, S3D.
• Structural analysis software: RISA or STAAD.
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and related codes.
• Knowledge of Building Codes.
• MS Office suite including MS Teams for remote coordination.
• Ability to travel to client sites (10–20%).

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering assignments on Data Center projects.
• Create computer models for structures and perform calculations.
• Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
• Collaborate with internal professionals and design departments for delivery.
