Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for the Advanced Manufacturing team, focusing on Data Center projects. You will perform structural engineering tasks, create models, and coordinate with global teams to deliver robust solutions.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, 8+ years of experience, and a PE license with cross-state eligibility. Travel 10–20% and hybrid work arrangements support collaboration and project delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
Registered Professional Engineer with eligibility to register in additional states.
Proficiency with CAD software AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation and S3D.
Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD.
Knowledge of Building Codes and relevant design standards.
Proficiency with MS Office suite including MS Teams for remote coordination.
Ability to travel to client sites (10%–20% travel).

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of structural engineering assignments on data center and industrial projects.
Create computer models for structures and perform member/foundation calculations.
Assist with schedules, cost estimates and design coordination with teams.
Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
