Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer within the Advanced Manufacturing team to work on data center projects, including new builds and retrofits. You will perform structural engineering tasks, develop computer models, and collaborate with teams across Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.

The role offers opportunity for leadership growth and travel up to 20%. A Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering is required, with 8+ years of experience and PE registration

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer or ability to become registered in additional states.
• CAD software knowledge: AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, S3D.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD.
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and related design codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural analysis tasks on projects.
• Create computer models for structures.
• Perform calculations for member designs and foundations; prepare estimates and schedules.
