Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer within our Advanced Manufacturing team in the United States. You will work on Data Center projects, including new builds, retrofits, colocations, and related structural analyses.

The role offers growth opportunities and requires a PE license, CAD and analysis software proficiency, and travel up to 20%. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Jacobs offices locally and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer with ability to become registered in additional states.
• Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation, S3D).
• Proficiency with structural analysis software (RISA or STAAD).
• Knowledge of Building Codes and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural analyses and calculations.
• Create computer models for structures.
• Prepare designs and foundations, estimates, and schedules.
