Job summary

Jacobs is hiring a Senior Structural Engineer within our Advanced Manufacturing team, focusing on data-center related projects. You will perform analyses, create structural models, and coordinate with multiple design teams across Jacobs offices worldwide.

A PE license and extensive CAD/analysis tool proficiency are required. You will lead project teams, travel as needed, and grow technically while contributing to large-scale capital programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer or ability to become registered in additional states.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation, S3D).
• Proficiency with structural analysis software (RISA or STAAD).
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and related design codes and standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office; strong remote coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural engineering analyses and calculations.
• Create computer models for structures and foundations.
• Prepare member designs and material take-offs for estimates.
• Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
• Lead teams to deliver projects on schedule and budget.
