Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer within our Advanced Manufacturing team to work on data-center projects, including new builds and retrofits. You will perform diverse structural engineering tasks and collaborate with a global team to deliver high-quality solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering, 8+ years of experience, and a PE license (or ability to become licensed in additional states).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to become registered in additional states.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation, S3D).
• Experience with structural analysis software (RISA or STAAD).
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and Building Codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural engineering analyses and design tasks.
• Create computer models for structures and perform member design calculations.
• Coordinate with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally for project delivery.
• Travel to client sites (approximately 10–20%).
