Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer within our Advanced Manufacturing team in the United States. You will work on data center projects, performing analyses and building models for structural members and foundations.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and multiple Jacobs offices will be essential. The role requires a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, 8+ years of experience, PE registration, CAD/analysis software expertise, and travel of 10–20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering and 8+ years of experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer; ability to register in additional states.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation, S3D) and structural analysis tools (RISA/STAAD).
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7 and Building Codes; MS Office and Teams; travel readiness.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural analysis across data-center related projects.
• Create computer models for structures and perform member and foundation calculations.
• Assist with schedules, material take-offs and coordinating with Jacobs teams.

Education
