Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer within our Advanced Manufacturing team, focusing on data center projects, including new builds and retrofits. You will perform structural analyses, develop models, and coordinate with internal teams and Jacobs offices worldwide.

This role requires strong technical growth and leadership as you handle diverse capital projects. You will contribute to ongoing design efforts, liaising with multidisciplinary groups to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer with the ability to become registered in additional states
• Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation and S3D
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD
• Knowledge and application of Building Codes and industry design standards
• Proficiency with MS Office and remote coordination tools
• Travel to client sites approx. 10–20% of time

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural analysis and calculations
• Create computer models for structures
• Perform member designs and foundation calculations, estimates
• Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally
• Support project delivery and schedules
