Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer within our Advanced Manufacturing team to support data center projects, including new builds and retrofits. You will perform structural analyses and coordinate with internal groups and Jacobs offices worldwide.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Structural Engineering is required; MS degree preferred.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer with ability to obtain registrations in additional states.
• Proficiency with CAD software: AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation, S3D.
• Experience with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD.
• Knowledge of Building Codes and relevant design standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE 7).
• MS Office suite including Teams for remote coordination.
• Ability to travel 10–20% to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural engineering analyses for data center projects.
• Create computer models for structures and perform member/foundation calculations.
• Assist with material take-offs, scheduling, and project documentation.
• Liaise with internal teams and Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
