Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in the United States for our Advanced Manufacturing team, focusing on Data Center projects from new builds to retrofits and colocations. You will perform diverse structural engineering tasks and expand your technical leadership across projects.

You will collaborate with a diverse engineering team and coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally, with travel 10–20% as needed to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer or ability to become registered in additional states.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, S3D).
• Experience with structural analysis software (RISA, STAAD).
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7 and related codes.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Teams for coordination.
• Willingness to travel ~10–20%.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural analysis tasks.
• Create computer models for structures.
• Perform calculations for member designs and foundations; assist with estimates and schedules.
