Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer within our Advanced Manufacturing team, working on data center projects nationwide. You will perform diverse structural analyses, develop detailed models, and contribute to design calculations and estimates.

You will liaise with internal teams and other Jacobs offices (domestic and international) to deliver high-quality results, while growing technically and taking on leadership opportunities. A hybrid US work policy applies.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Structural Engineering and PE registration required.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Licensed PE with ability to register in additional states.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, S3D) and structural analysis tools (RISA/STAAD).
• Solid knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and Building Codes; MS Office incl. Teams.
• Willingness to travel ~10–20% to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural analysis and design tasks.
• Create computer models for structures and perform member/foundation calculations.
• Assist with material take-offs, schedules, and project estimations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Jacobs offices.
