Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing team. You will work on data center projects, performing diverse structural analyses and creating models, while collaborating with a global team across Jacobs offices.

You will lead design calculations, coordinate with internal departments, and advance your technical and leadership skills, with opportunities for growth and development. Hybrid work policy supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer, can become registered in additional states.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, S3D).
• Proficiency with structural analysis tools (RISA, STAAD).
• Familiarity with Building Codes (ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, etc.).
• MS Office suite including Teams for remote coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural analyses and design calculations.
• Create computer models for structures and prepare member/foundation designs.
• Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
• Contribute to project delivery, quantity take-offs and scheduling.
