Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Senior Structural Engineer within the Advanced Manufacturing team to work on Data Center projects nationwide, focusing on analysis, modeling, and design across multiple platforms. You will collaborate with a diverse team and coordinate with internal professionals and Jacobs offices both domestically and internationally.

You will grow technically and professionally, expanding leadership responsibilities while contributing to project delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer eligible to become registered in additional states.
• Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation and S3D.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD.
• Knowledge and application of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, and other design codes.
• Knowledge and application of Building Codes.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite including MS Teams for remote coordination.
• Ability to travel to various client’s sites (approx. 10% to 20% travel).

Responsibilities

• Perform various analyses and create computer models for structures.
• Perform calculations for member designs and foundations; prepare estimates and schedules.
• Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
