Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer within our Advanced Manufacturing team to lead structural analyses and design for data center projects across the United States.

You will develop computer models, perform foundation calculations, and coordinate designs with Jacobs offices worldwide while growing into leadership roles. The role supports a hybrid work policy with travel 10–20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer with ability to become licensed in additional states.
• Proficiency with CAD software: AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, S3D.
• Experience with structural analysis software: RISA or STAAD.
• Knowledge of relevant design codes and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of structural analysis and design calculations.
• Create computer models for structures and foundations.
• Coordinate designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.
• Support project delivery and assist with schedules and estimates.
