Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join the Advanced Manufacturing team, working on Data Center projects including new builds, retrofits, and colocations. You will perform various structural engineering tasks and coordinate designs with Jacobs offices worldwide.

You will grow technically and professionally as you gain experience, leading to broader responsibilities and leadership opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
Registered Professional Engineer or ability to become registered in additional states.
8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
Knowledge of CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation and S3D.
Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD.
Knowledge of Building Codes and industry standards.
Proficiency with MS Office including MS Teams for remote coordination.
Ability to travel 10%–20% to client sites.

Responsibilities

Performing a variety of structural analysis.
Creating computer models for structures.
Performing calculations for member designs and foundations, and assisting with schedules.
