Job summary

Ensono is seeking a senior strategy leader who will shape and execute the company’s strategy. You will own the strategy cycle, run critical initiatives, and influence executive decisions with robust problem solving and financial fluency.

You will work closely with the CEO, ELT, and board, building an AI-enabled strategy office and coordinating governance across programs. This role demands strategic thinking and a track record of delivering results at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in corporate strategy, strategy operations, or related roles with C-suite exposure.
• Experience running enterprise planning across functions with governance and executive readouts.
• Evidence of original strategic thinking that altered a company’s direction or operating model.
• Strong financial fluency: business cases, P&L, EBITDA impact, contracts and investments.
• Excellent executive-level communication, from memos to board summaries.
• Ability to influence senior leaders without formal authority.
• Presence to contribute in senior leaders’ staff meetings and guard sensitive information.
• Rigorous program management habits (charters, plans, risk logs, status reports).
• Hands-on fluency with AI productivity tools, data, and dashboards.
• Discretion with confidential information including transactions and board matters.
• Willingness to travel (approx. 10%).

Responsibilities

• Shape strategy and translate it into actionable initiatives with governance and executive input.
• Own the annual strategy cycle from theme intake to decision gates.
• Lead flagship initiatives and coach leaders on problem structuring and writing.
• Coordinate executive forums and drive the operating rhythm for monthly reviews and board materials.
• Identify and evaluate acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic opportunities.
• Lead corporate development and market analysis, including competitive intelligence.
