Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Senior Director, Strategy & Execution to drive the yearly strategy cycle and manage a portfolio of executive initiatives. The role reports to the CSO and interfaces with the CEO, President, ELT, and board.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in strategy roles, strong financial fluency, and proven ability to lead complex programs with limited authority while delivering executive‑level content.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in corporate strategy, strategy operations, consulting, corporate development or a chief‑of‑staff role, including 3+ years with C‑suite executives.
• Proven record running enterprise planning or strategic initiatives across functions, with governance and executive readouts.
• Evidence of original strategic thinking shaping direction, offerings or operating model.
• Strong structured problem solving and financial fluency: business cases, P&L and EBITDA impact.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual strategy process end to end, from theme intake to strategy memos and governance.
• Stand up initiatives with charters, sponsors, accountable leads, and measures of success, reporting to ELT and board.
• Coach initiative leads on problem structuring and decision‑ready writing; develop templates and tools.
• Lead one or two high‑priority initiatives per year and shape the strategy office, including AI dashboards and automation.
