Job summary

Ensono seeks a Senior Director of Strategy & Execution to translate strategy into action, owning critical initiatives and shaping executive decisions. You will work closely with the CEO, ELT, and board to drive governance, portfolio management, and transformation programs while building an AI‑enabled strategy office.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in corporate strategy or related roles, including direct work with C-suite executives.
• Experience running enterprise planning across functions with governance and executive readouts.
• Proven record of original strategic thinking that changed a company.
• Strong problem solving and financial fluency (P&L, EBITDA, contract economics).
• Executive‑level communication, from a six‑page narrative memo to a one‑slide board summary.
• Ability to lead without authority and hold senior leaders accountable.
• Presence to participate in senior staff meetings and discern what to share.
• Rigorous program management habits (charters, plans, risk logs, status reporting).
• Hands‑on fluency with AI productivity tools, data and dashboards.
• Absolute discretion with confidential information.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10% travel requirement.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute strategy with direct exposure to the CEO and ELT.
• Own the annual strategy process end‑to‑end with charters and gates.
• Stand up initiatives with charters, sponsors and measures, and manage the portfolio.
• Prepare materials for the ELT and board and craft executive summaries.
• Lead the monthly business review and executive operating rhythm.
• Drive corporate development, partnerships and strategic analysis including M&A.
• Lead the Executive Advisory Council and synthesize client insights.
• Build an AI-enabled strategy office with dashboards and automated summaries.
