Job summary

Onbe is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale, cross-functional programs within the PMO. You will drive execution aligned to enterprise goals, manage resources and budgets, and apply Agile/PDLC methods to deliver high-impact results.

This role requires strong business acumen, emotional intelligence, and a proactive risk-management mindset to ensure timely delivery and stakeholder alignment across teams..

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience required; advanced degree or certifications strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of project management experience, incl. 5+ years leading initiatives of significant scope and impact.
• Experience in payments and disbursements is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives with broad impact, managing multiple competing priorities and adapting swiftly to emergent needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, gain buy-in, and lead through change.
• Proven ability to communicate complex ideas and strategic insights across all levels of the organization.
• High level of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and corporate maturity.
• Recognized as a subject matter expert in project management and function-specific technologies.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop and execute project plans aligned with strategic goals and cross-functional initiatives.
• Lead enterprise-wide Agile projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact.
• Identify risks, predict issues, and implement innovative solutions with minimal oversight.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, including third-party vendors, to ensure alignment across stakeholders.
• Establish and execute communication plans that influence strategy and ensure stakeholder engagement.
• Manage scope changes and assess downstream impacts to mitigate risk and capitalize on opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement by integrating feedback and coaching into project execution and team development.
• Lead organizational change efforts within the role, facilitating communication and alignment across stakeholders.
• Apply expert knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Asana) to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor and report progress, milestones, and performance metrics to leadership.
